Notice of Open Book & Board of Review

Open Book:  Notice is hereby given that the 2019 assessment roll will be open for public inspections in the clerk’s office at the Wausaukee Village Hall on Monday, May 6, 2019.  Hours of public inspection are from 10:00 am through 12:00 pm.  Call Assessor Ryan Raatz with R & R Assessing Services, LLC to schedule an appointment at (920) 846-4250.

After review of the Open Book, property owners who feel their 2019 assessment does not reflect current market value may provide to the Village Clerk, for the Assessor’s review, written evidence of current market value, and may meet with the Assessor for assessment review.

Board of Review (BOR):  Notice is hereby given that the BOR for the Village of Wausaukee will be held at the Wausaukee Village Hall at 428 Harrison Avenue, Wausaukee, WI on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Persons wishing to appeal their assessment to the BOR are encouraged to give notice of their intent to do so, either in writing or verbally, to the clerk at least 48 hours before the BOR begins.  Official objection forms are available in the clerk’s office, 428 Harrison Avenue, in the Village of Wausaukee.

Spring Clean-Up Day

Spring Clean-Up Day – The Village will be providing dumpsters for the disposal of items not otherwise accepted during normal garbage pick-up on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 8 am – 12 pm. Please see the official announcement for details.

Public Hearing Regarding Proposed CDBG Grant Application

The Citizen Participation Committee of the Village of Wausaukee will conduct a public hearing regarding its proposed application for grant funds from the Community Development Block Grant – Planning Grant Program (CDBG-PLNG).  The public is invited to attend to learn about the CDBG program, to help identify additional community development needs, and to comment on the activities proposed to be included in the CDBG application.  Click here to view the agenda.

Public Notice – Registry Listing for Zoning Changes

Pursuant to Wis. Stats. Secs. 62.23(7)(d)4 and 66.1001(4)(f), the Village has adopted Ordinance 2018-13 (Sec. 13-1-226) which states that the Village must maintain a list of citizens who submit a written or electronic request to receive notice of any proposed municipal zoning action or ordinance change, or comprehensive plan amendment, which would affect the allowable use of the person’s property.  To read the ordinance in its entirety, or to view the written request requirements, click here.

  • water and sewer hook-ups at the campsites
