The Wausaukee Business Association, in partnership with the Village of Wausaukee, is excited to announce the 2nd annual Christmas in the Park Holiday Lights Display! Individuals, businesses, and organizations each sponsor and decorate a site for your viewing pleasure! Sites are lit from 4pm to 11pm daily starting December 1st and ending January 5, 2020. Donations will be accepted at the drop box at the entrance to the campground to benefit children in need from the Wausaukee School District. Click here to view the official announcement.

Supper With Santa
The Village of Wausaukee is proud to co-sponsor ‘Supper With Santa’ at Wausaukee High School next Thursday, December 20th from 5 – 7 pm!!!! Join us for a free meal, music, and of course, SANTA CLAUS!!

2020 Budget Hearing Scheduled for November 19th
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 5:30 pm at the Wausaukee Village Hall, a Public Hearing on the proposed 2020 budget will be held. Following public input, the board will vote on the adoption of the 2020 budget. Notice of Sewer Rate Increase Effective 1/1/20
Wausaukee Water/Sewer Utility is announcing a 1% increase in the SEWER RATES effective January 1, 2020. The increase is necessary to reduce the existing deficiency in present rates. Wausaukee’s 1st Fire Truck to Return Home
Duluth, MINN – On October 17, at 1:00 pm in Duluth Minnesota, at the Annual Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association (MSFCA) the keys to a 1930 REO Speed Wagon fire truck will be handed back to its original owner – the community of Wausaukee, Wisconsin.
MFSCA Board members led by Eagan, Minnesota Fire Chief Mike Scott will hand over the keys to Fire Chief Eric Edlebeck of Wausaukee, Wisconsin in a presentation to formally return the truck to its home. Click here to read the full article.
10th Annual Turkey Trot
The Wausaukee Recreation Association will host the 10th Annual Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Registration is at 8 am with the run/walk starting at 8:30 am. Click here to register and view entry fee details!
Fall Leaves and Brush Pick-up
The Village of Wausaukee will be picking up leaves/brush the week of October 21 – 25, 2019.
Village residents are requested to put all DRY LEAVES (only) in PLASTIC BAGS and put them by the curb. Brush will be picked up only if they are 4’ to 5’ in length and tied together. Anything left loose at the curb will not be picked up. Please keep leaves separate from brush. No big tree branches or limbs please!
Trick-or-Treat Hours
The Village of Wausaukee will hold Trick-or-Treating on Thursday, October 31st from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Anyone wishing to participate should turn their outside light on.
