Emergency Warming Shelter at Wausaukee Municipal Center

The Wausaukee Municipal Center, 704 Main Street, will open its doors to those affected by the area wide power outages from 4 pm until 10 pm on Thursday, March 24th, and 8 am until 5 pm on Friday, March 25th.   We will closely monitor the situation as updated by WPS and add days/times if necessary.

Guests are invited to use Program Room A in the new Community Center to warm up, use the restrooms, fill water bottles, charge devices, and use the wi-fi.  We also will be opening the kitchen to those wishing to cook a hot meal, utilize the refrigerator or freezer, microwave, or coffee pot.  Please be advised that we do not have dishes, pots, or pans yet, so guests will need to bring their own.

Please use the rear parking lot and entrance in the alley off Harrison Avenue.
