NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at an election to be held in the Village of Wausaukee, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.  The term for Village Trustee begins on April 20, 2021.  All terms are for two years, unless otherwise indicated.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2020, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in the office of the Village Clerk.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election.  If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles

The Annual Holiday Lights Competition will be held Tuesday, December 15th!  Anyone wishing to participate should have their holiday lights on from 6pm – 9pm for a chance at 1 of 3 cash prizes (residential only).  Businesses are encouraged to participate as well with 1 grand prize winner awarded a traveling trophy to display in 2021!

Sealed bids for Municipal Well #4 – Well Construction, Contract B-20 (Rebid), will be received by the Village of Wausaukee, Village Clerk, at the Village Hall, 428 Harrison Avenue, Wausaukee, WI 54177, by 2:00 p.m., local time, December 10, 2020, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The Village of Wausaukee is seeking proposals for consulting services relating to the acquisition and repurposing of a former bank building into a Community Facility Public Facilities, CLOSE Project.  The Village of Wausaukee was awarded federal funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for this project.  Proposals will be accepted for grant administration services for a CDBG-PF grant and CLOSE project.

Minimum requirements include previous experience in CDBG Grant Administration on CDBG or similar state/federally funded projects.  Proposals will be accepted from individuals, firms, or groups of firms with the demonstrated expertise and experience in these areas of practice.
